The same themes recur, the lemon peel, the half eaten tray of oysters, the strange turkey/capon still with feathers, the sense that something has happened here. People have eaten but not finished the feast but seemingly are unworried at leaving a table with food still on it or perhaps they had been called away to some emergency.
